Commercial Cleaner – Secret Clearance Required

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Cleaner for an ongoing position in Ashton, ON.

MUST HAVE A VALID SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must have reliable transportation/car
Pay: $23.00/hour
Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
Perform general commercial and facility cleaning
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors
Clean and disinfect washrooms and common areas
Dust and clean offices, workspaces, meeting rooms, and storage areas
Clean high-touch surfaces and maintain sanitary conditions
Remove garbage and recycling and replenish supplies
Clean and maintain gymnasium, training, medical, dental, and other facility areas
Follow proper cleaning and infection-control procedures where required
Safely operate commercial cleaning equipment
Complete cleaning logs and report maintenance, safety, or supply issues
Follow all health and safety, WHMIS, PPE, and site security requirements

Qualifications
Valid Secret (Level II) security clearance – mandatory




Canadian Citizen – required for security clearance
Previous commercial, institutional, custodial, or healthcare cleaning experience is an asset
WHMIS certification is an asset
Comfortable operating commercial cleaning equipment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Solid attention to detail and cleanliness
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs
Reliable vehicle/transportation required due to the location
