In this role, you will design and lead engaging activities, events, and volunteer programs that bring joy and connection to Residents' daily lives. It's a hands-on role where your creativity directly boosts engagement and quality of life.

CA$20.96 hourly

Responsibilities

- Designs a creative and exciting activities program to meet the individual needs and interests of Residents including the development of a monthly activities calendar
- Assists with department goals as well as communicates the programs and processes required to achieve them
- Supervise and retain volunteers
- Identifies and develops opportunities to create relationships with other professionals, community partners and/or organizations
- Coordinates the transportation of Resident to and from events outside of the Residence
- Oversee seasonal celebrations
- Actively supports in-service participation, meetings and committees
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned




- Monitors resident participation rate and encourage attendance

Qualifications

- Education and/or experience in Recreation/Activation or related field
- Good working knowledge of recreational programming and techniques
- Experience in working in hospitality and event planning
- Robust customer service skills and experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Extremely enthusiastic and creative
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook required
