Join our agile veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our animal patients and their humans.

This position is for an experienced veterinary assistant.

Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries to ensure smooth clinical operations.
Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately to facilitate procedures and examinations.
Gather patient history and act as a liaison between client and veterinarian.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment area, kennels, and surgical suites to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Support laboratory procedures by collecting samples, preparing slides, and managing lab equipment.
Provide exceptional client service with explicit, concise communication.

Requirements





Minimum 2 years experience as a veterinary assistant in a clinic setting.
Solid communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift animals safely, and perform physically demanding tasks with enthusiasm.
A compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to animal care ensures success in this energetic role.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
