Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Supply Early Childhood Educator/Assisant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education by providing nurturing care, engaging activities, and educational support to young children.

Minimum Weekly Commitment
Minimum 8 hours per week
This is approximately one 8-hour shift per week
Additional hours may be available based on school needs and your availability
Flexibility to provide coverage for staff absences is an asset

Qualifications & Requirements
ECE or ECA qualification
Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting is preferred
Current First Aid/CPR
Reliable, punctual, and skilled
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A warm, patient, and caring approach when working with children




Ability to follow childcare licensing requirements and centre policies

Responsibilities
Provide classroom coverage when regular staff members are absent
Support educators with daily classroom routines and activities
Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing setting
Assist with meals, transitions, outdoor play, and classroom activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom workplace
Work collaboratively with the teaching team
