Founded in 2021, Sweetgrass Soap is an Indigenous-owned business in Chilliwack, BC, creating soaps, body butters and skincare products inspired by Indigenous culture.
We’re looking for a dependable, organized person to help with production, customer orders and occasional markets.
Responsibilities
Assist with making soaps, body butters and other skincare products, including preparing ingredients and supplies for production.
Package and label soaps, skincare and other products.
Prepare, pack and process customer orders.
Keep the workspace, tools and supplies clean and organized.
Learn about Sweetgrass Soap’s products, ingredients and uses so you can confidently answer customer questions and help customers choose products at markets.
Occasionally help at markets with setup, customer service, sales and takedown.

Work workplace
This role involves working around scented soaps, skincare products and fragrance ingredients, with a variety of scents present during production and packaging.
Hours
This is a casual part time position. Hours vary depending on customer orders, production needs and market schedules. Some weekend availability may be required for markets. Hours will be between 9am and 1:30pm, or sometime afternoon shifts.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
