Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sushi rolls and other Japanese cuisine with precision and attention to detail.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.




Follow recipes and presentation standards to create visually appealing dishes.

Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant setting is preferred.
Familiarity with sushi making techniques and knowledge of Japanese cuisine is highly desirable but we can teach you everything as long as you have experience in any other cuisine.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Experience in the food service industry, particularly in a quick-paced environment, is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
