We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your role is vital in promoting comfort, safety, and independence for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those receiving hospice or home care. Duties
Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and independence
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Support patients with mobility and transfer tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of living spaces
Monitor health status by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to healthcare specialists
Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance overall well-being during visits or shifts
Requirements
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care environments preferred
Strong knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia care techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of caregiving tasks
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
