VentureX is an Oakville-based social media content agency producing short-form content for restaurants, entertainment venues, clinics, retail and lifestyle brands across the GTA. Every client works with our in-house team of creative strategists, actors and editors, and we film on a regular shoot schedule each month. With recent clients coming on this season, we're looking for a videographer-director who understands modern social content, can lead a set, and consistently captures clean, compelling visuals.

What You'll Do
Direct and film short-form content for Instagram and TikTok across our client accounts
Bring the strategy team's concepts to life on set, from shot list to final take
Work with our actors to capture natural, strong performances
Shoot on both phone and camera, choosing what each concept calls for
Lead shoots on your own as you learn our clients and process
Organize and upload footage for our editors after each session

Adaptable to different brand styles, locations and production needs

Qualifications
Experience filming social content, branded content or short-form media
Comfortable shooting on both phone and camera
Basic understanding of lighting, sound and on-set workflow
Your own gear, such as a professional camera, lighting and microphones, is an asset but not required
Background in videography, film, media or digital marketing is an asset
Weekend availability is an asset

Compensation

This is a contract position paid $30 CAD per hour. Every shoot includes one additional paid hour on top of shoot time, so a three-hour shoot is paid as four.
