WATB Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Excavator Operator for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects throughout the GTA.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform excavation for commercial, industrial, and institutional building foundations.
Excavate for strip footings, spread footings, grade beams, foundation walls, and elevator pits.
Independently read structural and foundation drawings to determine excavation dimensions, depths, and elevations.
Establish and maintain proper excavation grades and elevations using laser levels and GPS equipment.
Perform bulk excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling.
Coordinate excavation activities with concrete forming crews.
Identify potential conflicts between structural drawings, civil drawings, and existing site conditions.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial and industrial foundation excavation.




Ability to independently interpret structural foundation drawings.
Experience excavating footings to exact dimensions and elevations.
Experience operating excavators around existing structures and underground utilities.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
