We are seeking to hire Permanent Part Time, Casual Personal Support Workers who are interested in working with our Attendant Outreach Program within a unionized workplace.
You must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
JOB OVERVIEW
Demonstrated ability to provide personal care assistance and support via activities of daily living to clients within the Attendant Outreach Program and who reside within the City of Timmins
To develop and maintain effective client care giver qualified boundaries while maintaining a healthy client working relationships
To carry out program service administration requirements as per policy and procedures
To comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
To respond to emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Personal Support Worker Diploma or equivalent
Relevant experience working with adults with physical disabilities is considered an asset
Understanding and commitment providing care within Assisted Living Program
Must have reliable form of transportation via use of own personal vehicle
Maintenance and proof of Vehicle insurance with two (2) million liability vehicle insurance
Maintenance and proof of Valid Driver License
Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
Clear Criminal Record Check
