STEM TUTOREX is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Physics Tutor to support high school students. The ideal candidate has a robust background in physics, experience tutoring or teaching, and familiarity with the Ontario curriculum.
Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one tutoring in high school Physics.
Explain concepts clearly and help students connect mathematical skills with physics applications.
Support students with problem solving, course material, assignments, and test/exam preparation.
Identify knowledge gaps and adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
Prepare appropriate practice activities and lesson materials.
Provide feedback on student progress when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience tutoring or teaching high school Physics.
Familiarity with the Ontario high school Physics curriculum is strongly preferred.
Ability to teach Grade 11 and Grade 12 Physics is preferred.
Robust communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with online teaching and learning tools.
Reliable, organized, and committed to student success.
French proficiency is an asset but not required.
