This position is part time, two Saturdays and Sundays per month.
Duties
Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols to maintain residents’ health and safety
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, promoting healthy eating habits
Engage residents in recreational activities, socialization, and therapeutic programs to enhance their well-being
Maintain a clean and safe living workplace through regular cleaning, laundry, and household chores
Monitor residents’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare professionals
Document care provided, incidents, and resident progress accurately in required records
Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable but not a must.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Experience working with individuals who have special needs or behavioral challenges is preferred
Ability to perform light cleaning duties and meal preparation efficiently
Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude essential for building trusting relationships with residents and team members
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
