We are looking for a foodie forward Retail Sales Associate with experience in customer service, and ability to work in a fast paced setting. In this energetic role, you will assist customers by educating them on our products, and provide expert advice on our various olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Work in and environment that is a welcoming and encourages repeat business and brand loyalty. Packaging, gift wrapping, and tasking is also a large part of the role we are seeking to fill.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products and solutions
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight highlight our various products
Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and organization to ensure product availability
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and guiding shoppers through their purchasing journey
Package, wrap, and label gift sets, and hostess gifts
Skills
Solid communication skills,
ability to interact with customers
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales operations
Ability to perform merchandising tasks effectively to enhance product visibility and appeal
Excellent organizational skills for managing stock levels and store presentation
Customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude that builds rapport quickly
Ability to handle a fast paced retail setting, ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
