Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Line Leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations on the production line. As a vital team member, you will lead a team of operators, ensure smooth workflow, and uphold quality standards. Your role is essential in maintaining efficient assembly, packaging, and mechanical processes while fostering a protected and productive work environment.

Required Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated leader who easily interacts with others and is adept at encouraging and motivating a diverse team
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook)
Sound mathematical abilities
Ability to work under pressure and perform job duties in an accurate and efficient manner
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Working knowledge of Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA)
Proven effectiveness working as part of a diverse team
Manual dexterity for packing and accenting, casing cookies is required




Minimum 2 years’ experience working in baking industry
Previous experience in a bakery or food production workplace preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS:
Temperatures that may be considered above “room temperature” and not to exceed 26C

Smells include butter, sugar, chocolate, maple syrup, nuts. Must be free from allergies to any of these product
Ability to work and stand for long hours and to lift up to 25 lbs
Intermittent loud sounds lasting approximately 20 minutes at a time throughout the day (compressor machinery). Ear protection is provided when on the loading dock

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
