We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of care in their daily lives. Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior promptly to our Care Coordinator or family members
Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience working as an RPN with private clients
Experience providing nursing care to seniors or caring for individuals with disabilities
Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies for managing cognitive impairments
Skilled with medication administration procedures
Education
Two-year diploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized Ontario college
Valid certificate of registration issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
