Senior Full Stack Developer
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Full Stack Developer for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Senior Full Stack Developer - Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with our Fintech clients in the Spread Products space. This role involves architecting, building, and deploying production-grade solutions in collaboration with client trading, risk, and operations teams.

Senior Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technical point of contact embedded with client teams
Rapidly prototype and deliver production-ready applications using Java or Python
Balance tradeoffs between scope, speed, and quality to meet client timelines
Own Discovery & Scoping engagements, translating business asks into technical specifications
Produce transparent technical documentation and communicate complex architecture decisions

Senior Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs)
Robust production experience in Python (FastAPI/Flask, data processing libraries)




Hands-on experience with Tekton/OpenShift Pipelines and Jenkins for CI/CD
Robust database expertise across Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB
Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps practices: containerization (Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes)
Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills

Senior Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Domain knowledge of Fintech, Capital Markets, or Spread Products
Experience using Python for quantitative analytics, pricing models, or ML-driven risk tooling
Experience with event-driven architectures
Monitoring/Observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/Splunk)
Scripting/automation experience combining Java and Python within the same delivery pipeline
