Job description:

We are looking for a mature, motivated, and driven individual to join our team as a Houseperson. You must be physically able to perform heavy lifting (Banquet set-up), janitorial duties (general cleaning), and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding customer service.

What will I be doing?

-Greeting guests in a friendly manner and delivering requested items to guestrooms

-Assisting with general guest issues that arise during their stay
Assisting our Sales Manager in organizing meetings and banquets for clients. This includes banquet set up/take down, servicing meetings with refreshments, and ensuring our client's needs are met during their event with us.

-Cleaning designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms,



public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
Performing tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed

Job Types: Full time, Part time

Pay: $18.25 per hour
