Job Summary
We're looking for a hardworking, self-motivated shop hand to join our team! In this role, you'll keep the shop and our job sites running smoothly. Your tasks will include cleaning and organizing the shop, loading and unloading materials, and managing supplies. You'll often be juggling several tasks at once, so the ability to prioritize and keep track of details is key.
Knowledge of plumbing materials is a strong asset. A retired plumber or tradesperson looking for a steady, hands-on role would be a outstanding fit.
You must be able to lift heavy items, pay close attention to detail, and safely use warehouse tools and equipment. Driving to and from construction sites is part of the job, so a valid driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract are required.

Responsibilities
Handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize them to keep the shop running on schedule
Take initiative to write down requests, orders, and follow-ups so nothing gets missed
Perform heavy lifting and moving of materials throughout the warehouse
Pick orders accurately to fulfill customer needs
Deliver materials to and from job sites (valid driver's licence and abstract required)
Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment
Operate warehouse machinery such as pump trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently
Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Work with team members to complete tasks on time
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
Qualifications
Plumbing / construction experience is preferred (not required)
Forklift or other mechanical experience is an asset
Experience with loading and unloading procedures is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying accurate
Reliable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract
