Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cook/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team! Duties
Prepare a variety of menu items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Handle cash register operations using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems with accuracy and speed
Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, dining space, and cashier stations through regular sanitation and organization
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities

Requirements




Prior experience in food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for productive transactions
Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of food handling safety standards
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
Familiarity with sanitation procedures, kitchen safety, and proper food storage practices
Previous experience in cashiering or serving roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $18.25 per hour
