We are seeking a dedicated and agile Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
Train, mentor, and supervise staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication within the team.
Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support financial management by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring sales performance.
Utilize POS systems for effective order processing and reporting.
Qualifications
Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
Solid leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Experience in bartending or kitchen operations is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
