Riverwood Landscape is hiring reliable people to explicit sidewalks and entrances at commercial and condominium properties in Guelph. No previous snow removal experience is required. We provide training.
You’ll drive a company truck between properties and use shovels, snow blowers and salt to keep pedestrian areas transparent and accessible.
What you’ll do
Drive a company truck along an assigned Guelph route.
Clear sidewalks, steps and entrances using shovels and snow blowers.
Apply salt as directed.
Check equipment and report problems.
Record completed work and communicate with your supervisor.
What we’re looking for
A valid driver’s licence and driving record acceptable to our insurer.
Reliable transportation to work during winter weather.
Availability for overnight,
early-morning, weekend and holiday shifts.
Ability to shovel, handle equipment and work outdoors in winter conditions.
Dependability, explicit communication and willingness to learn.
Schedule and opportunities
This is a seasonal, weather-dependent position starting in November. Hours and start times vary with conditions, and longer shifts may be required during storms.
All properties are in Guelph. Year-round landscape maintenance opportunities may be available after winter.
