Duties
Prepare a variety of food items and beverages in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
Operate POS systems, including Square, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food presentation and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order fulfillment
Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines diligently while maintaining a clean workspace
Kitchen experience or prior serving roles will be advantageous for success in this position
