VM Storage Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced and reliable Rack Installation Supervisor to lead and coordinate rack installation crews at customer warehouse and project sites. The successful candidate will oversee daily installation activities, ensure work is completed safely and accurately, and coordinate the crew according to project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate rack installation crews at project sites.
Lead the installation of pallet racking and storage systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and rack installation plans.
Ensure racks are installed according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members.
Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, leveling, and installation quality.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site safety requirements.
*Communicate with project managers, customers, and site personnel as required.
*Identify and report installation issues, material requirements, or site concerns.
*Operate and safely use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
*Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area.
*Train and provide direction to installation team members when required.
*Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality and scheduled deadlines.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in pallet rack installation or warehouse racking is required.
Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience is preferred.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and rack layouts.
Robust knowledge of rack installation procedures and safety practices.
Ability to lead a crew and work effectively in a team environment.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work at different customer/project sites as required.
Ability to perform physical work and work safely with tools and equipment.
