Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards at all times.
Serve food to customers in a timely manner,
ensuring presentation meets quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Support the overall food service operation by working collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent service.
Experience
Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices is advantageous.
Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Experience with food handling regulations and safety standards ensures a smooth integration into our team.
A background in the food industry or kitchen experience will help you excel in this role, but training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary skills.
Pay: $16.50-$17.00 per hour
