Intermissions Sports Cafe operates in Cole Harbour Place, RBC Centre and the Greenfoot Energy Centre. Looking for cooks to fill this position at each location. Hours are mainly Friday evenings and weekends. Looking to fill these positions immediately. Very easy menu.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
Serve meals efficiently to customers, maintaining excellent food handling practices and hygiene standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to streamline service.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies.
Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure a protected workplace for both staff and customers.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with meal assembly and customer service as needed.
Experience
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and safety protocols is essential.
Familiarity with serving procedures, maintaining cleanliness standards, and managing multiple tasks efficiently is preferred.
