Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a quick-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring portions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.

Skills




Robust knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in meal preparation within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.0 – 40.0 per week
