We are looking for 1 Full Time Educational Assistant (EA) and multiple Substitute Educational Assistants (EAs) for our inclusive preschool programs in Cochrane, AB.

The Educational Assistant position is in a Cochrane preschool where you would work independently (as the only It Takes a Village Educational Assistant in this location) in collaboration with the preschool educator's team. You will be provided support by a team of therapists, an Educational Consultant and an Educational Assistant Consultant who visit the program weekly to monthly.

Educational Assistants/substitutes support special needs kids in their preschool programs including going outside daily for recess. Preschool runs Monday-Friday full days. The Full time Educational Assistant and substitute positions will be 8:30am-3:30pm including a paid 30min. lunch break.





Proficient in English required and current Police Check required after being hired.

The Substitute Educational Assistant positions are casual, on call, hourly wage positions paid at $22/hour. The Educational Assistant position will be paid hourly based on relevant education and experience, set by the Executive Director at the time of hiring.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
