On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Business Analyst - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves providing a comprehensive range of I⁢ business analysis services for a critical project within the Government Services Integration Cluster. The project focuses on digital transformation and systems optimization, requiring hands-on expertise in business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Business Analyst - Senior - Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document data, system, and business requirements
Liaise between business users, IT teams, and external vendors
Lead requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews
Develop strategies, business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for I⁢ initiatives
Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, and process flow modeling
Monitor project progress and report to I⁢ management and stakeholders
Business Analyst - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
Expertise in Visio diagrams and swim lane diagrams
Ability to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Robust negotiation and facilitation skills
Experience in systems re-engineering and workflow optimization
Business Analyst - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with data-driven decision-making tools like Power BI and SQL
Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or Cloud-based business solutions
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience in the Ontario Public Sector (OPS)
Awareness of emerging I⁢ trends and technologies
