Bombay Spices is looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager / Supervisor to oversee store operations and help grow our Barrie location.
Responsibilities
Manage daily store operations
Ordering, purchasing and inventory management
Receiving, stocking and merchandising
Staff scheduling, training and supervision
Customer service and store standards
Vendor coordination
Sales, promotions and local marketing
Social media and community marketing initiatives
Control wastage, shrinkage and operating costs
Identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability
Take ownership of overall store growth
Requirements
Experience in Indian/South Asian grocery, ethnic grocery or supermarket operations preferred
Previous store management or supervisory experience
Solid knowledge of Indian grocery products
Experience with ordering and inventory
Solid leadership and communication skills
Marketing and sales-growth experience is an asset
Proven track record of growing sales or improving store performance preferred
Compensation and profit-sharing details will be discussed during the interview.

Local candidates are preferred. Candidates outside Barrie may apply if they are willing to relocate to Barrie.
