Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to move and stack materials in a warehouse setting
Safely load and unload trucks using a forklift
Perform daily inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues
Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate materials
Pick orders accurately and efficiently using an order picker or clamp truck
Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in the warehouse
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift
Requirements:
Valid forklift operator certification
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center
Ability to operate different types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers
Solid mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the forklift
Basic math skills to accurately track inventory and complete paperwork
Ability to lift heavy objects, up to [insert weight limit] pounds, on a regular basis
