Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning treats.
Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Assist with food packaging and presentation for dine-in, takeout, or catering orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
Collaborate with team members to develop new dessert recipes and improve existing offerings.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining menu items and accommodating special requests when needed.
Skills
Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
Ability to prepare food efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and serve customers professionally.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and packaging methods.
