Duties
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to streamline cooking processes
Cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality
Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices, storage protocols, and sanitation procedures
Support kitchen operations by cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations regularly to uphold cleanliness standards
Manage stock levels by receiving deliveries, checking for quality,
and organizing ingredients for easy access
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow during busy periods
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately under pressure
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and food presentation skills
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and serve customers professionally
