We are looking for a detail-oriented Exterior Estimator to prepare accurate estimates, complete material takeoffs, and coordinate purchasing for exterior construction projects. The ideal candidate can confidently read construction plans and use STACK estimating software.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Use STACK to complete accurate quantity and material takeoffs.
Prepare estimates for materials, labour, and overall project costs.
Create explicit work orders and material purchase orders (POs).
Contact suppliers to confirm material availability, current pricing, and delivery timelines.
Compare supplier quotes and ensure orders match project requirements.
Communicate with project managers and installation crews to support scheduling and project execution.
Keep estimates, supplier quotes, and purchasing records organized and up to date.
Qualifications
Experience estimating exterior construction projects.
Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications.
Proficiency with STACK for takeoffs and estimating.
Experience preparing work orders and material purchase orders.
Robust attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
