Duties
Safely operate railroad folding boom cranes on track to lift, move, and position heavy rail materials and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of crane trucks and rigging gear to ensure operational safety and compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with team members and dispatchers using clear communication to execute tasks efficiently.
Assist with rigging procedures, ensuring proper load securing and adherence to safety protocols during lifting operations.
Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability and compliance.
Support other construction-related activities such as forklift operation and mechanical troubleshooting when needed.
Experience
Proven Railroad, on track operation experience with a focus on crane work.
Valid Level A crane truck certification in folding 10 tonne or greater
Knowledge of rigging techniques, load calculations, and safety standards related to crane operations.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on crane trucks and related equipment.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients in high-pressure environments.
Prior experience working in railway construction or maintenance projects is mandatory.

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
