Precision Specialized is currently seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within the transportation and logistics Industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing safe, smooth and secure transportation solutions to new & existing customers
Price shipments internally and externally – primarily open-deck flatbed freight
Schedule, track and update shipment statuses to customers
Assist other team members with general administrative and operational tasks
Work with internal sales team to execute service offerings
Education and/or Experience
Education Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience Preferred: One (1) year in a related field of over-the-road transportation and brokerage.
Skills & Attributes Required
Speak and write English
Microsoft Word & Excel experience
Valuable email & phone communication skills
Experience using FleetManager is a benefit.
Punctual, attentive to detail and adept with timelines and pressure.
Able to work in a team environment - you will be working in a team of people.
This is an in-office only opportunity and potential candidates must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week at our Burford, ON location.
