THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Shift Mechanic based out of Fort St John BC in a rotational camp mechanic position to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas engines and compressors at our client’s location. The successful candidate will possess solid technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team member.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright
2 weeks on and 2 off shift
Have excellent knowledge of natural gas engines, compressors, pumps and air compressors
Cat and Waukesha VHP experienced required.
Be motivated and well organized.
Have strong customer service and communication skills.
Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs.
Willing to comply with all company policies.
Have a clean class 5 driver’s license.
Available to participate in the on-call rotation
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Waukesha and Caterpillar engines and Recip. compressors.
