We are looking for a reliable, organized, and friendly Part-Time Office Administrator to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment while providing excellent service to patients.
Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
Greet and assist patients as needed
Input, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes
Perform various billing and administrative tasks
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Process and organize paperwork and medical correspondence
Assist physicians and office staff with day-to-day administrative needs
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow office policies and procedures
Perform general office duties as required
Qualifications
Previous administrative or medical office experience is an asset
Previous experience with PS Suite is appreciated and considered an asset
Experience with medical billing is an asset
Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Comfortable handling confidential information
Proficient with computers and common office software
Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy office environment
