Responsibilities:
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles as needed
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption and other relevant information
Communicate with dispatchers and customers and other team members

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality

Skills:

-Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements
Proven experience in commercial driving and operating heavy equipment
Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations; freight handling procedures
Ability to safely maneuver large vehicles in various weather conditions
Robust communication skills for interacting with team members & building staff
Basic automotive repair knowledge for minor maintenance tasks on the truck




Ability to lift & move heavy materials and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
