We are seeking a agile and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our rapid-paced distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems will be essential in ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory control, and secure handling of goods. Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products safely within the warehouse.
Execute order picking and packing tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders promptly.
Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and warehouse facilities to ensure safety standards are met.
Assist in construction or manufacturing-related tasks when required,
utilizing mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills.
Support warehouse organization by loading and unloading goods efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.
Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, order pickers, cranes, and other heavy equipment is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during order fulfillment, packaging, or load/unload activities.
Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus for understanding complex operations involving heavy machinery.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order accuracy.
