Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. Prior experience, especially in laundry and cleaning, is preferred but not required. The position offers an prospect to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Evenings and weekend availability.

Responsibilities
Operate industrial laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens.
Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to guest/camp standards
Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly for timely distribution
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including washing machines, dryers, and workstations
Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages




Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working workplace for all staff
Evening and weekend availability

Skills
Previous hotel experience or background in laundry services is highly desirable
Knowledge of laundry processes and cleaning techniques
Solid attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
Good organizational skills for sorting and managing large volumes of linens
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
