Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service to enhance their dining experience
Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are followed
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to boost sales and customer satisfaction
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order completion
Follow all food safety procedures, including proper food handling, storage,
and sanitation practices
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, with a solid understanding of the food industry standards
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for quick and accurate transaction processing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating orders accurately
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and secure food handling practices
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining a positive attitude
Basic understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations
Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
