Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe & Event Servers to join our energetic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and possess a robust understanding of food service operations. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is preferred, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail are highly valued.

The WRC is one of Whistlers most popular venue for events: staff appreciation parties, birthday celebrations, corporate events, wedding receptions and more. The hired candidate for this role will be scheduled to assist with the service of these events. 90% of these shifts will fall in afternoons/evenings between the hours of 4pm-11pm

Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
Assist with food preparation and handling as needed,



adhering to food safety protocols.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table setup and breakdown.
Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest experience.

Experience & Expectations
Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper serving techniques.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Hospitality experience, including hotel or food service roles.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
