About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring individual to join our Before and After School Care team! This is initially a temporary maternity leave coverage position, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be supporting school-aged children (Kindergarten to 12 years old) in a fun, safe, and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with children during morning and afternoon care sessions.
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, arts, and outdoor play.
Provide full-day care and programming on Professional Development (Pro-D) days and school holiday breaks.
Maintain a clean, inclusive, and welcoming safe environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.

Qualifications & Requirements




Responsible Adult Certificate (or willing to obtain prior to start date).
Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector screening.
Previous experience working with school-aged children (K–12 years old) is a strong asset.
Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer
Competitive hourly wage: $19 / hour.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
