Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
Manage reservations efficiently using RESY to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times
Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and any additional information needed
Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for service
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and seating availability promptly
Answer incoming phone calls with skilled phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or general inquiries
Support the overall flow of the restaurant by monitoring waitlists and managing guest expectations with clear communication
Skills
Exceptional guest services skills with a warm, approachable attitude
Proven experience in serving or hospitality roles, demonstrating solid customer service capabilities
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures to assist in smooth service delivery
Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow efficiently
Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
