Academy Farms is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and motivated individual to join our farm team!
Academy Farms is a diverse working farm specializing in water buffalo, bison, heritage pigs, goats, and other farm animals. We are seeking someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is willing to be involved in all aspects of farm operations.
Job Responsibilities
Daily feeding, watering, and care of farm animals
Cleaning and maintaining barns, pens, and animal facilities
Operating tractors and other farm equipment
General farm maintenance, repairs, and upkeep
Fencing, landscaping, and property maintenance
Assisting with livestock handling and movement
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace
Performing other general farm duties as required
Qualifications
Previous farm or livestock experience is an asset
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual labour
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
Experience operating farm machinery is an asset
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Wage: Based on qualifications and experience
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
