We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Kitchen Helper to join our agile food service team. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring kitchen stations are stocked and organized
Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols throughout all kitchen operations
Help with serving food to customers in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
Keep the kitchen area clean and sanitized by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a protected working environment for all team members
Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic food safety standards
Ability to assist with meal preparation, cooking, and serving activities effectively
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen setting
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks
