Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
Upsell relevant products and services by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options
Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote sales
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality
Skills
Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus
Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles is preferred
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and balancing cash registers
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth operations
Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels
Ability to demonstrate products confidently through product demos and technical explanations
Effective time management and phone etiquette for multitasking in a lively retail workplace
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive attitude
Solid interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, team members, and management
