Excel Society seeks a Health Care Aide to enhance client wellness during weekend shifts in Edmonton. Provide compassionate care and support in a residential setting at Balwin Villa.
This part time role involves working Saturday and Sunday evenings, totaling 31 hours biweekly. Candidates will assist clients with physical, mental, and emotional needs while maintaining respectful communication. You'll be integral in fostering teamwork and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care within defined Health Care Competencies
• Refer clients to appropriate health care team members
• Build respectful relationships with clients and families
• Support client's physical and emotional needs with active listening
• Check equipment for defects and comply with infection control
Requirements:
• HCA certificate recognized by Alberta Health Services
• Valid certification in First Aid and CPR Level C
• Current satisfactory criminal record check
