We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing and reliable Winter Market Sales Associate to join one of our festive German-inspired Christmas huts this holiday season.
Our huts will be filled with German candy, lebkuchen, specialty treats and giftware, creating a fun and festive shopping experience for market guests.
What you'll do
Open and close the hut each day, following established opening and closing procedures
Welcome customers with a friendly, energetic and positive attitude
Engage with customers and help them discover German treats, gifts and specialty products
Provide knowledgeable and enthusiastic product recommendations
Operate Square POS and process card transactions accurately
Keep the hut stocked, organized and looking outstanding throughout the day
Receive and organize product as needed
Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies need replenishing
Keep the sales area clean, tidy and inviting
Help create a welcoming, upbeat Christmas-market atmosphere
Work as part of a team to keep the hut running smoothly during busy periods
We're looking for someone who
Is outgoing, friendly and genuinely enjoys talking with people
Has previous retail, sales, hospitality or customer-service experience
Is comfortable approaching customers and starting conversations
Is reliable, organized and able to work independently
Is comfortable using a POS system such as Square
Can stay positive and energetic during busy periods
Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean, organized and well stocked
Is comfortable working outdoors/in a market setting in winter conditions
Is available for the required Winter-market dates and hours
