This position requires a professional background in blasting, robust safety knowledge, and the ability to work under wide-ranging environmental conditions. Experience with electronic detonators and thorough safety understanding are essential in this role, complemented by competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and inspect blast plans and conditions
Load and prime blast holes per operational needs
Conduct pre-blast safety assessments before charges




Maintain accurate records and manage explosive materials
Engage in toolbox discussions and daily hazard assessments

Requirements:
Minimum blasting experience in civil or highway contexts
Certification from Saskatchewan or equivalent province preferred
Willing to work outdoors in all weather
Solid communication with supervisory personnel
Capable of passing all pre-employment screenings
